Robert T. Speller Jr.,B.S., CQP

Robert T. Speller Jr., a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and Microsoft Certified Partner has 20 plus years of professional accounting experience in strategic statistical analysis and implementing accounting solutions. He has worked in various industries, including construction, service, Insurance, legal, medical, non-profit and many more.  

 After graduating from Concordia College in Bronxville, NY, Robert continued his career as a Accounting Manager for Industrial Indemnity Company based in San Francisco.  Three years later she was hired by Peat Marwick Financial to provide small business accounting solutions, eventually combining both career paths with Donovan Data Systems.  During this same time he also set up and maintained accounting software for several small businesses in the evening and weekends.

 In 2005 Robert Leased office space in downtown San Francisco, became a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, however Robert had been using QuickBooks since it was in “DOS” version which made it pretty easy for him to get certified in 2006, 2007, 2008 and QuickBooks Enterprise solutions in the same year.

 By 2005 the demand for his services from Intuit referrals, and Craigslist ads had grown so large Robert changed his business plan to include Microsoft Office Accounting, Peachtree, Sage MAS90/200 and Dynamics SL services.

 His passion now lies in helping his clients find and acquire easy-to-use accounting solutions that provide necessary and understandable reporting information. His knowledge of QuickBooks is extensive, and his current focus in on helping mid-sized businesses with QuickBooks Enterprise.

 As an Accounting Consultant, Robert is a seasoned and reliable advocate and troubleshooter, as well as a liability, tax and GAAP “watchdog”. Although he does not prepare tax returns himself, he acts as a liaison between the client and their tax preparer to help them generate accurate managerial reports for use in tax preparation. he offers a variety of services, whether for first-timers or ‘veterans’, as well as specializing in solving issues involved with the setup of QuickBooks.

 Because the marketplace changes rapidly, Robert is committed to continuing education, and staying on top of the latest information and innovations.
